Jon Gottsegen
Biographical Info
Jon is a deeply listening, wild, loving elder, an intention that came to him from a rite of passage of his own on beautiful, sacred land in Colorado. He brings this listening refined through guiding and supporting others in spiritual direction/companioning to all of his work. He also leads single day "spirit walks" that combine deep nature connection and soulful/spiritful wanders. He calls his spiritual direction and guiding work Earth-Based Soul Companioning and partners with the land in evoking the particular story that wants to be told at the particular time.
Jon comes to this work over the past decade while spinning down and closing a long career in information systems. Consequently he is very aware of the challenges and responsibilities of working and doing in the dominant, material world while also feeling the still, soft, yet powerful, voice of his soul that cried out for a quality of being. He brings this experience as well as many years in men's groups and general life experience raising two sons to all of his work.
