Krista Bajgier, LCSW-C, MEd, is a certified nature-informed trauma therapist and founder of Outdoor Therapeutics, a Maryland-based clinical private practice. She combines her deep love of nature with her passion for healing by offering outdoor individual and group counseling interventions and nature-based wellness programs. She serves adolescent and adult populations aged 14+ to address a wide range of mental health challenges and has a specialty attachment trauma and sexual abuse and survivor recovery. She currently offers an annual nature-based retreat for women in burnout and therapeutic backpacking trips. She is trained in Wilderness First Aid, Leave No Trace, and combines EMDR, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, and other evidence-based clinical interventions with resources in the natural world to inform her nature-based trauma treatment model.
