Biographical Info
Jonathan Kabat, MA, Provides psychotherapy, transformational coaching, facilitation, eco-therapy, and rites of passage processes in Northern California. His passion for rites of passage practices was catalyzed when doing research for his thesis: Mystical Experience and Environmental Attitudes of Modern Vision Quest Participants, which demonstrated the efficacy of rites of passage practices with original research.
Jonathan received his graduate training in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA. following his bachelors in Psychology from Dominican University of California, graduating Cum Laude, honored as an Academic Scholar and is a member of the honor societies Psi Chi and Alpha Sigma Lamda. He is currently continuing his postgraduate studies in the treatment of complex developmental trauma utilizing somatic, eco-therapy, and mindfulness as practices for facilitating more compassionate connections with Self, others, and the Biosphere.
