DESCRIPTION:This 2024 Women’s Quest will take place in the beautiful Steens Mountain Wilderness in Southeast Oregon\, near a gentle creek and within juniper and sagebrush country.\nThis is a ten-day experience\, including three days of fasting in solitude — your vision fast. You will receive physical\, psychological\, and spiritual preparation in group. Upon returning from your fast\, there will be support to intentionally integrate the learnings and experience in order to prepare to go forward to your life at home.\nYour guides will be Nicole Medema of Cascadia Quest and Kinde Nebeker of New Moon Rites of Passage.

SUMMARY:Adult Vision Fast in Death Valley
DESCRIPTION:In want of deeper meaning? There is not always a clear path. Longing for a change in one’s life\, it can be challenging to take the leap. Knowing when you yourself have transitioned from one life stage to the next\, is sometimes elusive. At these times\, it can be hugely transformative to enlist community support\, devote time for self-reflection\, and consult the ageless voice of wild nature. \nThis modern-day vision fast engages one’s entire being\, requiring each person to strongly claim their whole Self. It is a challenging\, nourishing\, insightful time in the expansive desert\, where a trained team will create a strong container in which you can claim the transformation and discovery you wish for yourself. You will be joined by a circle of people from varying backgrounds and given a chance to be listened to deeply. \nThe Adult Vision Fast is inclusive of all genders. Different than our gender specific fasts\, topics—and therefore learnings—about gender and between genders are common. It is a ten-day\, journey of Nature\, Spirit\, and Community\, including three days and nights in which participants fast in solitude. The initial four days are focused on your physical\, psychological\, and spiritual preparation for your fast. The middle days are devoted to your vision fast. The final days help you intentionally integrate your experience in the desert in order to move forward in your life back home. \nWhen you know there is something more being asked of you from this life\, when you are seeking vision\, when you are clear that you need to make a change or redefine who you are\, then a vision fast can be right for you. \nGuided by Rob Miller and Kinde Nebeker
