Biographical Info

As a creative and rooted Rites of Passage guide, Bettina brings earth ceremony, body awareness and mindfulness to her work. Bettina Straub trained with School of Lost Borders and holds a Wilderness First Responder certification. She is educated as a Mental Health Counselor and Mindfulness Instructor through Naropa University. Offering nature based programs, counseling in her Private Practice as well as teaching Graduate students the basics of mindfulness and meditation, her intuitive approach is enriched by over 10 years of experience creating safe and empowering spaces for personal exploration and awakening.

Bettina's relationship with Rites of Passage work was born during her initiation into Womanhood at age 18, which helped guide a unique life path. Originally from Germany she carries a deep passion and understanding for the wounds that help us find our true belonging. She calls South Germany and Colorado home, weaving her work into these wild landscapes. She continues to learn from our diverse and human experiences, on this shared journey through life’s passages.
