What Kind Of Quest Is Right For Me?

While all wilderness quests have the three stages of severance, threshold and return, there are many ways of putting that into practice.

Some quests have a three day solo, some have a four day solo.  There are special men's quests, women's quests and youth quests.  You may choose to quest alone or as part of a larger group of questers from all walks of life.  You may choose to travel to some place very different than your local environment - a desert or a mountain or a forest - or you may choose to quest a few miles from home.

There are a few larger organizations such as the Animas Valley Institute, Rites of Passage, and the School of Lost Borders that offer quests year-round to people from around the globe.  Rites of Passage Journeys specializes in coming of age experiences for young people from the ages of 8 - 18.

There are many guides who practice in their local communities, and offer one or two quests per year. Some guides prefer to work with you one-on-one to create a unique experience tailored to your needs. No matter what your orientation, there is a guide for you.

All of our guides provide a secure environment for you to bring your own personality and beliefs into.  They are only there to point the way.  The journey is yours to make.

All of these ways of questing are there in service of the larger questions that you bring to your quest:  What am I letting go of? What new life am I stepping into?

It's an exciting journey. We invite you to take the next step!
